Yes. If you need to change your weekly injection day, make sure there are at least 3 days between injections. You can then continue once weekly on your new chosen day.

When the pen is empty, dispose of the pen without a needle on as instructed. The pen cap and the empty carton can be disposed of in your household waste.

When using the FlexTouch® pens, always dispose of the needle immediately after each injection using a sharps bin. Never store your pen with the needle attached. Keep your sharps bin in a safe place so it’s not a risk to other people and is out of the sight and reach of children.

Sharps bins must not be disposed of in household waste.

Contact us straight away. Taking more Wegovy than prescribed may increase the likelihood of side effects, including nausea.

Do not take an additional dose unless you have been advised to do so. Contact us and we can advise you on what to do next.

Check the medicine before using it. The solution should be clear and colourless. If it does not look as expected, do not use it and contact the pharmacy for advice.

It is possible to travel with your Wegovy®FlexTouch®pen and the single dose device. When travelling by air, keep your pen with you or in your carry-on, as it may freeze in the baggage compartment. Be sure to check with the airline and the requirements of the destination country, to see if they have any specific baggage rules. If needed, Wegovy®FlexTouch®pens (0.25 mg, 0.2 mg, 1 mg, 1.7 mg and 2.4 mg FlexTouch®pens), can be stored for 6 weeks at a temperature below 30°C. Wegovy®7.2 mg single dose device can be stored for 28 days at a temperature below 30°C.

Do not stop or make changes to your Wegovy treatment without discussing it with your prescriber. Your treatment and ongoing weight-management plan should be reviewed.
